National, October
07, 2025 — NephroPlus, Asia’s largest dialysis service provider (Source: Frost
& Sullivan Report, 2025), has achieved a historic milestone by crossing 500
centres globally. Marking this achievement, the company announced the launch of
its latest dialysis centre in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, located at Amrit
Hospital on Delhi Road.
The brownfield
centre, developed in collaboration with Amrit Hospital, spans 2,000 sq. ft.
and houses state-of-the-art dialysis machines, enabling NephroPlus to deliver
quality dialysis services to patients in the region. This partnership brings
kidney care closer to communities in Rampur, Shamli, Nakur, Malhipur, Kashiram
Colony and Hasanpur, many of which are underserved areas with limited access to
specialized treatment.
The launch event
was graced by Dr. Sandeep Chauhan, Director of Amrit Hospital, and Shri
Rajeev Gumber, MLA of Saharanpur City, as the Chief Guests. Shri Pradeep Chaudhary, former MP of Kairana
and Shri Naresh Saini, former MLA
were also present on the occasion.
Commenting on the
launch, Mr. Rohit Singh, Group Chief Executive Officer, Nephrocare Health
Services Limited, said: "Reaching 500 clinics is a proud milestone
for all of us at NephroPlus. This achievement belongs to our guests who trust
us, our partners who support us, and our teammates who power us every day. For
us, 500 is not a finish line — it’s a launch pad. We are moving faster,
reaching further, and aiming higher to redefine dialysis care in India and
across borders.”
With this launch, NephroPlus now operates 21 centres in Uttar Pradesh, including 2 centres in
Saharanpur.
NephroPlus
continues to pursue growth through brownfield opportunities, which involves
taking over and operating existing dialysis clinics run by hospitals,
not-for-profits, or other private providers looking to outsource their dialysis
operations. This strategy enables rapid expansion with lower upfront capital
investment and faster revenue realization. The brownfield strategy allows
NephroPlus to expand in urban and semi-urban areas, leverage existing
infrastructure and local staff, and achieve operational synergies across its
network.
NephroPlus’ cluster-based
approach has enabled it to successfully operate clinics in non-metro as
well as tier II and tier III locations, improving accessibility in smaller
towns and rural areas. As of March 31, 2025, it had 125 clinics in tier II cities and 218 clinics in tier III cities across India. In Fiscal 2025
alone, the company generated 1,642 jobs in tier II and tier III cities
and trained 132 dialysis technicians, reinforcing its commitment to both
healthcare delivery and employment creation.
