Jaipur, Rajasthan, 12th March 2026: On World Kidney Day, NephroPlus organised a Guest Engagement Programme at Jaipur National University Hospital, bringing together dialysis patients, caregivers, doctors and healthcare experts to raise awareness about kidney health and strengthen patient support.
The programme was designed to promote awareness, patient engagement and community building among individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. Around 50 guests participated in the interactive event, which created a platform for patients to connect with experts, share experiences and receive practical guidance on managing kidney disease. The event featured a range of activities including a Q&A session with doctors, diet counselling for dialysis patients, a poster-making competition, and interactive discussions with guests. These sessions aimed to educate patients about the importance of proper nutrition, lifestyle management and adherence to dialysis treatment for maintaining better health and quality of life.
The programme was attended by leading medical experts including - Dr. Sandeep Bakshi (Chairman), Dr. Sudhir Bhandari (Pro Chancellor), Dr. Amarjeet (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Mala Airun (Medical Director) and nephrologist Dr. Shikha, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of early awareness, preventive care and high-quality dialysis in improving patient outcomes.
During the programme, experts also spoke about the collaborative efforts between Jaipur National University Hospital and NephroPlus in delivering high-quality dialysis services and ensuring better care and comfort for patients undergoing long-term treatment. The event also showcased patient success stories and concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for participants in the poster-making competition, celebrating the resilience and positivity of patients living with kidney disease.
