Mumbai, 24th March, 2025: NephroPlus, Dialysis Network, successfully hosted its flagship event, ‘Aashayein’, in Mumbai, delivering an inspiring and empowering experience for dialysis patients. This exclusive event, aimed to uplift and support dialysis patients, provided a distinctive opportunity for them to interact, exchange their experiences, and find support from one another while they manage their dialysis journeys. The event promised to be an enriching experience, bringing together patients, their families, and the NephroPlus team.
The event was held at Thathai Bhatia Shewa Fund Hall, Kandivali (West) from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and it drew an impressive turnout of 200 participants, including dialysis patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
The event provided a unique platform for patients to gather, share their stories, and draw strength from their community while navigating their dialysis experiences. It included a carefully curated selection of interactive activities, enjoyable games, and entertainment, ensuring a fulfilling and positive experience for all attendees.
The program kicked off with a talent show, where guests demonstrated their creativity through a variety of performances. Interactive digital games and group activities like Tambola encouraged a sense of togetherness among participants. In addition, esteemed health professionals held sessions focused on kidney health and nutrition tailored for dialysis patients. A special webinar was also arranged, where expert speakers provided valuable insights on enhancing the quality of life in the face of dialysis challenges.
The event was graced by Guests of Honour – Dr. Umesh Khanna (MD, DNB, Transplant Physician, Nephrologist, NephroPlus), Dr. Puneet Bhuwania (MBBS, MD – General Medicine, DNB – General Medicine, DNB – Nephrology), and Dr. Anurag Shukla (MBBS, MD – Medicine, DNB – Nephrology), whose presence and expertise provided invaluable support to participants.
