Inside the NephroPlus Training Academy: Building World-Class Dialysis Technicians
As the demand for quality dialysis care grows across India and beyond, one challenge stands out: the shortage of well-trained, certified dialysis professionals. At NephroPlus, guest care comes first, and that begins with the people who deliver it. Recognising this, we launched Enpidia, our state-of-the-art training academy dedicated to producing some of the finest dialysis technicians and nurses in the industry.
Why Enpidia Exists
Dialysis is not just a medical procedure; itâs a lifeline. The technicians and nurses who work with guests are at the very heart of the experience, ensuring each session is safe, comfortable, and effective. Yet, the industry has long struggled with a lack of skilled manpower. Enpidia was created to close that gap, blending rigorous academic training with real-world clinical experience.
A Proven Track Record
Over the last nine years, more than 1,000 students have graduated from Enpidia and gone on to work at NephroPlus clinics and other dialysis centres across the country. Many of them credit their careers and their confidence to the balanced learning approach that combines theory, practical skills, and a deep understanding of guest care.
Global Standards, Local Expertise
Enpidia partners with the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology (BONENT), a globally recognised certification body based in the US. This ensures our curriculum aligns with international best practices while addressing the specific needs of dialysis care in India.
Course Structure
The two-year Diploma in Dialysis Technology and BONENT programme is designed for students who have completed their intermediate or higher secondary education.
Training begins with three months of classroom learning in Hyderabad, covering:
Basics of the kidneys and kidney diseases
Kidney treatment principles
Hemodialysis and vascular access
Dialysis procedures, complications, and water treatment
Guest communication and care protocols
This is followed by 21 months of hands-on practical training at NephroPlus clinics across India, where students work directly with guests under expert supervision. They learn:
Dialysis treatment procedures
Managing complications
RO plant operations
Grooming and hygiene standards
Personality development and guest interaction skills
Attendance is 100% mandatory, ensuring no learning gaps.
Career Growth and Opportunities
Enpidia graduates receive certifications from BONENT and NephroPlus, making them highly employable both in India and abroad. The âearn while you learnâ model allows trainees to gain income during their practical postings, easing financial pressure.
Career tracks are clearly defined for both technicians and nurses, with opportunities to grow into unit in-charges, quality managers, and even country-level leadership roles.
A Culture of Care
What sets Enpidia apart is not just technical training, but the culture it instils. Graduates donât just leave with skills; they leave with the NephroPlus mindset of treating every person as a guest, not a patient. This philosophy shapes how they approach care, communication, and problem-solving in their careers.
Enpidia is more than a training academy; itâs a launchpad for a meaningful, impactful career in dialysis care. With every graduate, we take one step closer to ensuring world-class dialysis is accessible, safe, and delivered with the dignity every guest deserves.
