Bottle Gourd Chilla

Ingredients:

  • Grated bottle gourd: 50 gms
  • Chopped onions: 20 g
  • Boiled carrot grated: 10 g
  • Egg white: 2 no
  • Cumin seeds: 2g
  • Coriander: ¾ th cup
  • Green chilli: 2 whole
  • Soaked dosa rice: 20g
  • Salt as required

    Procedure:

    • Take a bottle gourd peel off the gourd grate the gourd and remove the water.
    • Then take a bowl add grated bottle gourd, boiled grated carrot, chopped coriander and chopped onions.
    • Add egg whites and cumin powder and chilli pieces.
    • Mix them well finally add a pinch of salt and 2 lemon drops.
    • Heat a greased iron pan, take a ladle of the mix and spread it on pan close the lid for 2 min cook on both sides till golden brown.
    • Serve hot appam with mint or ginger chutney.
