Measure the puree into cups to determine the quantity. We have to use half as much Sugar as we have fruit. So if Guava puree is 2 cups we need 1 cup of Sugar.
Add the Guava puree, water and Sugar into a pan.
Place the pan over medium to high heat and bring to boil, stirring continuously.
To the boiling mixture now add lemon juice if you want unique flavours can add spices like cinnamon or ginger.
Continue cooking for 5-10 mins or until jam has reached desired consistency.
To check the consistency, drop a spoon full of jam on a plate, let it sit, and check if it forms a surface skin and solidifies. This indicates the jam desired consistency.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Strain jam through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any seeds or pulp and transfer it into a glass jar.
