Lauki Thepla

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¾ cup grated bottle guard
  • ½ cup hung curd
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt a dash or as instructed by your dietitian

    Procedure:

    • Take a mixing bowl into that add whole wheat flour, grated lauki, hung curd, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and 1 table spoon oil.
    • Mixing all the ingredients properly as we add curd there will be little requirement of water during mixing the dough
    • Knead into soft dough and rest it for some time. Now divide them 5-7 equal part
    • Roll the dough balls into the required shape square or round
    • Heat them on a skillet/tawa on medium flame
    • Serve with cucumber raita or any gravy of your choice
