Note: The potassium can be reduced in this recipe by leaching the dal prior to cooking

Procedure:
Add washed and soaked toor dhal with required amount of water, shallots, green chilli, raw mango cubes, a pinch of salt and turmeric into a cooker. Close the lid and cook it for 4-5 whistles.
Now take a pan, add 1 tablespoon oil. After heating the oil, add mustard seeds, garlic, chana dhal, jeera, red chilli, and curry leaves. Fry a little.
To this, add the finely cooked dal, mix well, and leave it for 5 minutes on the stove. Turn off the flame.
