Mango Dal

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup toor dal
  • 1/2 cup raw mango cubes
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chana dal – 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Red chilli – 1
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Shallots – 2 no

    Procedure:

    • Add washed and soaked toor dhal with required amount of water, shallots, green chilli, raw mango cubes, a pinch of salt and turmeric into a cooker. Close the lid and cook it for 4-5 whistles.
    • Now take a pan, add 1 tablespoon oil. After heating the oil, add mustard seeds, garlic, chana dhal, jeera, red chilli, and curry leaves. Fry a little.
    • To this, add the finely cooked dal, mix well, and leave it for 5 minutes on the stove. Turn off the flame.
