Moonglet Pizza

Ingredients:

  • Raw Washed Moong Dal - 100 gms
  • Sliced bell pepper & onion - 100 gms
  • Paneer - 100 gms
  • Coriander leaves (Chopped) - 2 tbsp
  • Green Chillies - 2 no.
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 tsp
  • Oil/ghee - 3-4 Tbsp
  • Pizza seasoning - 2 gms
  • Salt - as per allowance
  • Water - as per requirement

    • Note: Potassium level will decrease further more after using leaching process which mentioned above.

    Procedure:

    • 1. Wash the moong dal and soak it for 5 hours (for leaching- soak the dal in lukewarm water and change the water 2-3 times with thorough rinsing).
    • 2. Drain the water and grind the moong dal along with ginger and green chillies and 1 Tbsp. of water until smooth.
    • 3. Whisk the batter well till it becomes puffy, make sure the batter has to be thick, so don't add too much water. Add water if required.
    • 4. Heat oil in a small non-stick pan and add spoonful of the batter. Divide the batter depending on the size of your pan.
    • 5. Keep the pan on low heat and arrange the veggies & paneer slices.
    • 6. Top with few chopped coriander leaves and pizza seasoning.
    • 7. Gently press the toppings into the moonglet with the back of a spatula.
    • 8. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 minutes or until one side is cooked.
    • 9. Gently flip the moonglet and spoon oil on the sides.
    • 10. Remove from heat once the second side is cooked too.
    • 11. Top with grated paneer.
    • 12. Cut into slices and serve.
