Poha Phirni

Ingredients:

  • Poha (Rice flakes) Âĵ th cup
  • Milk (cow) 2 cups
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Almonds 5 in no
  • Corn flour 1 tsp

    Procedure:

    • In a pan, dry roast the poha till crispy. Let it cool. Grind the poha into coarse powder.
    • Boil 1.5 cup of milk in a pan and add poha while stirring continuously.
    • Side wise, in half cup of milk add corn flour and stir well.
    • Add the corn flour mix to pan and stir well.
    • Add sugar and simmer it for 2-3 minutes, do not let it harden.
    • Turn the flame off once you achieve the right consistency.
    • Garnish with chopped almonds and serve.
