Roasted Barley Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter water
  • 3 Tbsp roasted barley grains (Approx. 30 grams)
  • Step to roast Barley: Preheat the pan on a medium flame. Add the barley and stir around until it turns brown; it takes 10-12 mins to complete. You can store the grains in an airtight jar for further use.

    Procedure:

    • Boil the water in a vessel until rapidly boiling.
    • Add the roasted barley grains through a tea strainer container or if you don’t have one, add directly and use a strainer to sieve the grains at the end.
    • Boil for 5 minutes on low to medium flame and remove the roasted barley grains.
    • Can serve hot, at room temperature, or cold.
    • Sip and enjoy the aroma of roasted barley tea.
