Delicious home made fresh fruit
syrup with no added preservatives.
Ingredients:
Strawberries 200gms
Sugar ½ cup (100gms)
Water ½ cup

Serving Size: 2 tablespoons
Procedure:
Wash and chop the strawberries.
Put all the ingredients in a thick-bottomed vessel.
Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
Set a mesh sieve over a mixing bowl, strain the syrup over the sieve.
Discard the berries or keep them aside for later use.
Pour the syrup back into the vessel.
Bring it back to a boil on low flame for about 10-15 minutes or until the syrup slightly thickens.
Remove the vessel from the heat and store it in a glass container.
Strawberry syrup can be stored for up to 2 weeks in a refrigerator.
