Tahini Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Sesame Seeds (Hulled) 1 cup
  • Olive Oil (Extra Virgin) Âĵ cup
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt Optional

    Procedure:

    • In a frying pan add sesame seed and roast on low medium heat until slightly browned.
    • Remove the pan from heat and allow the sesame seeds to cool.
    • Add them in a blender and blend until they are smooth.
    • Add olive oil and blend to make a desired consistency. Add lemon juice and mix well.
    • Tahini can be stored in a glass jar for up to a month in refrigerator.
